VISION

NEW INDIA visualizes a world where the poor people, marginalized and the vulnerable are empowered to handle their own development and negotiate within the system with dignity and liberty.

MISSION

Empowering people to have access and to participate actively in the process of their own development towards qualitative improvement in their socio, economic, political and physical situations through a participatory and process oriented approach. Protecting the rights of children and persons with special needs, women, tribal, SC, ST & farmers and facilitating their access to available resources and primary necessities in life.

GOAL

Ensuring a process that enables the community members to support their livelihoods, ideas, keens and fellow members and leave behind a habitable world for their fore bearers and bring a sustainable change in the life of community members.

NEW INDIA started as a village level welfare organization for improving the quality of the life of rural poor, and with a reasonable amount of work experience started functioning as a formal and registered voluntary organization from 1993. The key strategy of intervention has been participatory action leading towards sustainable development through community empowerment.
